How to publish your products as product listings on Amazon
On Amazon, your products will be listed together with the product listings of other sellers on one product detail page. Customers are free to decide which seller they want to buy a product from. To publish your products as product listings on Amazon, you’ll need to first assign your products, search for matching products, and then link them to the assigned products.
Assign products
- In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Marketing → Amazon.
- Select the respective country.
- Open the Products tab.
- Select + Assign products.
The view Assign products appears. - Assign the products you want to publish as product listings on Amazon.
You have assigned products to be listed on Amazon. Their status is In preparation. Before the products are published as product listings on Amazon, you need to complete their setup.
Complete product setup
Before you can publish your products as product listings on Amazon you need to complete their setup by searching for a matching product that you can link to your product.
- In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Marketing → Amazon.
- Select the respective country.
- Open the Products tab.

- Search for a matching product. The first search runs automatically based on the respective product details. For best search results use the product code. You can also search using the product name and different keywords, for example: "flower pot, white". If a product has already been found using the product code, only this will be considered for the search and the entries in the other fields will be ignored.
- Select one of the search results. If you can’t find a matching product, adjust the search fields to improve your search results.
- Select Assign.
Once you have assigned a search result, you can no longer change it! If you want to change your selection later, you’ll need to unassign the product on the Products tab and start over. - Optionally, you can enter a different price for which you would like to sell your product on Amazon.
- Set a delivery period from 1-30 days.
- Describe the general condition of your product by selecting the most suitable option in the Condition drop-down menu.
- Enter further information about the condition of your product in the Condition note text field.
- Select Activate listing.
You have successfully linked your product to a matching product on Amazon and activated the listing. The product is now published as a product listing on Amazon. In the table on the Products tab, the status for the product is Active.
Improve your search results
If you can’t find a matching product detail page using the search, but you are sure that one exists, you can try to improve your search results.
Try changing or refining your search terms. For the best search results, search for the ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) in the Product Code field. You can find it by searching for your product directly on Amazon. You can also use other product codes for this search. These are EAN (European Article Number), UPC (Universal Product Code), and ISBN (International Standard Book Number).
