Edit the name/title of a page

Every page of your shop has a name/title, which should be descriptive and easily understandable for your customers. It is used for a variety of purposes, for example:

• If the page appears in one of the menus in your shop, the title is used as the link text.
• If the page is currently open, the title is displayed in the tab bar of the browser.
• The title also appears as a link in search results produced by Google and other search engines.

How to rename a page

1. In the sidebar of your administration, navigate to Editor.
2. You can see a list of your pages in the sidebar of your Editor under Pages. Select next to the page you want to edit.
   A pop-up opens.
   It is not possible to change the name for legal pages.
3. Enter the new name of the page in the field Page name.

   Info

   If you change the name of a category, the name of the category page will also be changed and vice versa.
4. Select Save.

You have renamed the page.
