Upload a favicon

A favicon is a small image that is displayed to visitors of your shop in various places in the browser. For example, it can be displayed on the tab next to the shop title, in the browsing history, and in the bookmarks/favourites. You can add a favicon to your shop to strengthen your brand and give your shop a more professional look.

How to upload your own favicon

By default, your shop comes with a generic favicon. You can add your own by following these steps:

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor.
2. Select in the bottom bar.
3. Select the tab .
4. Select the link + Add favicon or the preview of the previously uploaded favicon.
5. Select the image on your device
   
   You can use every image as a favicon. However, the image size needs to be at least 180x180 pixels and the file format must be .png.
6. Select Save.

You have uploaded your own favicon for your shop.

Note that the favicon is only displayed on pages related to your shop that are visible to your customers. It is not applied to your shop's administration.

To change your favicon, select the preview of your previously uploaded favicon. This will allow you to choose a different image from your device.

To remove the favicon again, select . Your shop will then use the default favicon again. Remember to save your changes.
