The footer of your shop can contain various elements:
- Links to the legal pages of your shop. You can find more information on this in the article Legal pages.
- Links to other pages. You can find more information on this in the article Links to pages in the footer.
- inks to your pages on social networks. You can find more information on this in the article Links to social networks in the footer (Facebook, Twitter etc.)
- Logos of the payment and delivery methods that you are offering to your customers. You can find more information on this in the article Logos of payment and logistics providers in the footer.
- If you offer your shop in various languages, the footer contains a language selection. You can find more information on this in the article Languages of the shop.
To take care of the settings for the footer, open the editor by selecting within the administration area of your shop in the main menu Editor and then select the footer icon at the bottom of your shop.
The footer is identical for every page of your shop. The only exception are the pages in the order process (see below).
The design of the footer depends on the theme you chose. You can find more information on this in the article Using themes / design templates.
The footer in the checkout
During the checkout the normal footer of your shop is not shown anymore. Instead the footer only contains links to some legal pages of your shop:
- Right of withdrawal
- Privacy policy
- Terms & conditions
The reason for this is that the customer should not be distracted during the checkout.
