Change the order of elements

You can change the order in which certain types of list entries are displayed to your customers in your shop. Whenever this is possible, a column called Sorting is displayed in the table concerned and/or you can see this symbol in the table: Sorting

Info

You can also change the order of pages in your menu. For further information, refer to Change the order of pages.

How to change the order of elements in your shop

  • If Sorting is available in a table, drag and drop the element to the desired position.
  • If there is the column Sorting in the table, you can enter values for each element. The element with the lowest value will be displayed at position one, the element with the second-lowest value at position two, and so on.

Save your changes. The list entries are now permanently displayed in the desired order both for you in the administration area and for your customers in your shop.

How to sort elements in tables (only visible to you)

You can also change the sort order for tables in your administration area. However, this order will not be displayed in your shop. Sorting elements in a specific order can help you with administration. However, this sorting only applies to you and will not be saved.

In the header of the table, select the name of the column by which the elements should be sorted.

For example, in the list of your products, select the name to display the information in the table sorted by the product name. The list entries are then sorted in ascending order by default, i.e. from A to Z. To display the list entries in descending order, select the name of the column in the header again.
