Google Ads / Google AdWords

Google Ads (previously named Google AdWords) enables you to display adverts quickly and easily in Google search results. These ads typically appear directly above the search results and are discreetly marked as ads. They are also displayed in the Google Display Network (which includes millions of other websites and apps and Google-owned properties, like YouTube and Gmail).

You can define keywords for search result pages on which you want your ads to appear. If you sell mobile phones, for example, you can have your ads displayed to users who search on Google for "mobile phone", "cell phone", or "smart phone" to target the right users.

Google Ads typically charges for the number of clicks. In other words, you only pay if someone actually clicks on your ad.

Google Ads has several benefits:

  • You can define that your ads should only be visible for users in specific locations and in specific languages.
  • You can determine your advertising budget.
  • Your advertising costs are always transparent.
  • You can see how many users view and click on your ads.
