Set bulk prices

For each product, you can define bulk prices. This allows you to offer discounted prices to customers who buy several units of a product at the same time. Bulk prices are displayed to your customers on the product page, in the section Bulk discount.

For example, you sell homemade cherry jam in glasses for £5.80 per glass. You have set a bulk price of £5 per glass for a quantity of 5 glasses or more and £4.50 per glass for a quantity of 10 glasses or more. If a customer orders 5-9 glasses of cherry jam, they will only be charged £5 per glass; if they order 10 or more glasses, they will only need to pay £4.50 per glass.

How to set bulk prices

Bulk prices are visible to all of your customers. To set prices for specific customers, like discounts for regular customers, refer to Set customer-specific prices.

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Products → View products.
   The table shows an overview of all products in your shop.
2. Select the respective product number in the table or add a new product and set it up.
3. Open the tab Bulk prices.
4. In the column Quantity, enter how many units of the product a customer must purchase at least to receive the respective bulk price.
5. In the column Price per, enter the price for the quantity you have just entered.
   The unit that is displayed here is per default “piece(s)“. If you sell a product in different order units and amounts, the quantity and order unit you selected on the General tab under Price will be displayed here.
   For example, if you have selected the quantity “1” and the unit “glass(es)”, the column header will read “Price per 1 glass(es)“.
6. Apply your settings by selecting in the corresponding line.
7. If you want to set further bulk prices for this product, repeat steps 4-6.
8. Once you are done, select Save.

You have set bulk prices for the product. Repeat the steps above to set bulk prices for other products.

How to edit bulk prices

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Products → View products.
   The table shows an overview of all products in your shop.
2. Select the respective product number of the product you would like to edit in the table.
3. Open the tab Bulk prices.
4. Hover over a quantity or a price and select .
5. Edit the value as desired.
6. Select Save.

You have edited the bulk prices for the product.

How to delete bulk prices

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Products → View products.
   The table shows an overview of all products in your shop.
2. Select the respective product number of the product you would like to edit in the table.
3. Open the tab Bulk prices.
4. Activate the checkboxes of the bulk prices you would like to delete.
5. Select at the top of the table.
6. Confirm your choice by selecting Delete.

You have deleted the bulk prices for the product.
