Update from the Base to Now version: Import your shop data and shut down your old shop

This article is exclusively for merchants who have been offered a switch to the Now version from the Base version in the administration area of your shop.

Once you have set up your Now-Shop, you can start the final transfer of your shop. This is only possible after you have completed and ticked off all the steps in the checklist.

This step will delete your old shop. This process cannot be undone! All transferred data will then be available in your Now shop.

This is how you do it:

1. Navigate to the checklist in the administration area of your Now shop. Under Import your shop data and shut down your old shop, select View next steps.
   The Shop update page opens.
2. Here you can review all necessary information before you can start the final shop transfer. If you want to import your data and close the Base shop, select Start shop transfer.
3. The relocation will be initiated and your Base shop will be closed. Orders, customer data, the stock level of your products and other data will be transferred from your Base shop to the Now shop. The relocation will be completed within a day. During this period, the Now shop will be unavailable. You will be notified by email when the relocation is complete.
4. Log into your Now shop and configure the last remaining settings. As usual, a checklist is provided for this purpose.
