Besides linking your social media profiles in the footer and adding logos of shipping and payment methods available during the checkout process, you can also show legal and content pages in a footer menu. In this article, you'll learn how to add these footer pages, set their visibility, and determine their order. Where to find your footer pages The Content pages section in the sidebar of your Editor includes two kinds of content pages: The ones included in your main menu at the top of your shop and the ones included in the footer menu. The pages of the main menu are displayed above the dashed line and the ones of your footer menu are displayed below that line. Furthermore, all legal pages are included in your footer menu. And here’s where the footer menu and its pages are displayed in the footer menu: How to add a page to the footer menu By default, all legal pages are included in the footer menu. It is not possible to move a legal page to the main menu of your shop. If you would not like to show a legal page in the footer menu, you can hide the page. For content pages, it's up to you to decide if you would like to add the respective page to the main menu or to the footer menu. The required steps depend on whether you would like to determine the page location on page creation or after page creation. On page creation Here's how to determine the page location on page creation: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor. Select Add page in the sidebar of the Editor. Under Page name, enter the name of the new page. Under Page location, select Footer menu. Select Save. You have added the page to the footer menu. You can now find it in the Content pages section of the Editor. After page creation Here's how to determine the page location after page creation: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor. You can see a list of your pages in the sidebar of your Editor under Pages. Select next to the page you want to make a footer page. Select Footer menu under Page location. Select Save. You have added the page to the footer menu. How to set a footer page's visibility You can determine whether or not a footer page is shown in the footer menu. But note that hidden footer pages can still be directly accessed by using the page URL. Furthermore, some legal pages should be made available via a link from each page of your shop. Thus, displaying them in the footer is a good solution to fulfil this requirement. Here's how to set the visibility: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor. Select in the bottom bar. Select the tab . Set the visibility: Select next to a page to hide it. Select next to a page to display it. Select Save. You have set the visibility of your footer pages. How to determine the order of the content pages in the footer menu The order of your legal pages in the footer menu is set and cannot be changed. Furthermore, the legal pages are always displayed at the very beginning. Afterwards, the content pages included in your footer menu are displayed. You can determine the order of these content pages. Here's how: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor. Select in the bottom bar. Select the tab .A list of all footer pages is displayed. Press and hold next to a content page and drag the page to the desired position. Keep in mind that it is not possible to drop the content page before or between the legal pages. Select Save.
