Set up payments via PostFinance Checkout

With PostFinance Checkout you have access to all relevant payment methods in Switzerland via just one interface. Offer your customers a comfortable shopping experience with a variable checkout process and benefit from advantages such as quick and simple bank reconciliation, a combination of payment methods or simple reimbursement.

How to integrate PostFinance Checkout into your shop

  1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Settings → Payment.
  2. Select the card PostFinance Checkout. If you can't see the card, you may need to expand the overview first by selecting View all providers.
  3. Select Add under PostFinance Checkout.
  4. If you don't have a PostFinance Checkout account yet, you first need to create one. While creating the account, use the type PostFinance Checkout Flex or PostFinance Checkout All-in-one.
    By the end of 2023, the PostFinance products Basic, Startup and Professional will be discontinued. From this point onwards, payments in your shop can no longer be processed or offered via these PostFinance products. If you already have a PostFinance account, you may need to switch.   5. Follow the instructions listed on the Settings tab in your shop administration.

    Caution

    Before you can select the payment method in your shop administration, you must enter the Space ID, the User ID and the Authentication Key correctly and save them.

You have integrated PostFinance Checkout into your shop. To offer it to your customers, remember to set it to visible on the General tab. There you can also make further settings. For further information, refer to the article Payment methods.
