Manage orders via PayPal

After you have integrated a third-party payment or delivery method another menu item will be added to the sidebar of the administration under Orders. All orders that use the respective method will be displayed here. This way, you have an easy overview of all orders that have been processed via a third-party method.

This also applies to orders paid via PayPal. The overview is similar to the regular order overview, which you can access under OrdersView orders. Depending on the PayPal payment method, either PayPal Checkout or PayPal Express, the displayed information may vary slightly.

How to proceed Pay Upon Invoice orders

If you have integrated PayPal Checkout into your shop and registered for Pay Upon Invoice, you will need to complete an additional step to process orders. After your customers have used the Pay Upon Invoice option, you need to manually add the tracking information to the payment in PayPal. For all other PayPal orders, this step is optional.

This is how you manually add the tracking information:

  1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to OrdersPayPal Checkout.
  2. Under Transaction no., select the transaction number for the respective order.
    You will be automatically redirected to the respective transaction in PayPal.
  3. Select the option to add the tracking information.
  4. In the respective fields, enter the delivery status, the tracking number, and the logistics provider.
  5. Select Submit.
    When you submit the tracking information, your customer will receive an email that includes the order status, the tracking number, and the name of the logistics provider.

You have added the tracking information. You can now return to your shop administration.
