Provide information in a FAQ

The FAQ content element lets you present information in an expandable section. This keeps the page organised, even with long texts. Customers can expand a question or heading to view the full text, making this element ideal for FAQs.

How to use the FAQ content element

  1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor.
    The Editor opens.
  2. Navigate to Pages.
  3. Select the page to edit or add a new page.
    A preview of the page opens on the right-hand side.
  4. Navigate to Content elementsFAQs+.
  5. Drag and drop the FAQ content element to the desired position.
    You can only drop content elements into the blue areas of the page.
  6. Select Add topics.
    The view Add topics appears.
  7. Select Edit topic.
  8. Enter a headline. This will always be displayed on the page.
  9. Enter a text. This will only be displayed when the headline is selected first.
  10. If you need more topics, add them by selecting + Add topic.
    To rearrange the topics select Move icon and drag and drop them into the desired order.
  11. Select Save.

You have added an FAQ content element.

If you want to edit the content element again, hover over the respective element in the Editor and select Edit. Repeat steps 7-11 to edit your topics.

This is what you can do with it

The most obvious use for this content element is an FAQ, which means answering frequently asked questions. We suggest placing the content element on its own page. This way you highlight the information and make it easy to find. You can also display the page in the footer to make it even easier for your visitors to find the information. Even if the name suggests otherwise, you can not only use this content element for FAQs. Instead, you could for example also present information regarding your company structure and your team. Or present more interesting information about your products.
