Help centre Settings Internationalisation Manage languages in your shop You can add multiple languages to your shop and decide which ones are visible to your customers.How to add a languageBesides the source (default) language of your shop, you may be able to add more languages, depending on your shop package. Contact your shop provider for details. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Settings → Internationalisation. Select + Add. Choose the desired language. Confirm with Add. If AI translation is available for a language and your shop, it will be translated automatically when you add it, provided that you have not yet exceeded your shop package’s character limit. For further information, refer to Translate your content. You have added the language to your shop. To add more languages, repeat the steps above. The added language is now either automatically translated our you can translate it manually. Info If the country for the respective language (e.g. Denmark for Danish or France for French) was not previously available for your shop, it is being added automatically. How to change the visibility of a languageThe visibility defines whether a language is available to customers. In your table of added languages, you can see their current visibility:This is how you do it: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Settings → Internationalisation. Activate the checkboxes of the languages you want to change. Info You cannot hide the source language of your shop. It is always available for your customers. In the toolbar, select Visibility and choose the desired option from the drop-down menu. You have changed the visibility of the selected languages.How to delete a languageIf you delete an automatically translated language, you can re-add it later, but you will have to translate it manually. Furthermore, if you have already reached the limit for AI translated languages, you cannot add other languages as AI translated languages, but either have to translate them manually or purchase a subscription for an AI Translations Add-on. Instead of deleting an AI translated language, you can also disable AI translations for a language. For further information, refer to Translate your content. Caution If your shop has more languages than the new limit of your shop package allows, you cannot add any languages. Therefore, if you delete a language, the package limit may prevent you from adding it again. Instead of deleting a language, consider setting it to not visible. This is how you do it: In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Settings → Internationalisation. Activate the checkboxes of the languages you would like to delete.
