Display products on the homepage of your shop

You can define which of your products you want to present on the homepage of your shop. This allows you to highlight specific products, for example: bestsellers, new products or products on sale.

You can either assign the products to be displayed on your homepage via the category settings, which is described in more detail in this article. Alternatively, you can use one of the content elements in the Products category, such as Product slider or Product and text.

How to add products to the homepage

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Products → Manage categories.
2. Open the tab Products.
   If you have previously assigned products, these will be listed here.
3. Select + Assign products.
   The view Assign products appears.
4. Activate the checkboxes of the products you want to add to your homepage. Note that only products and products with variations can be displayed on your homepage.
   On the tab Selected elements, you can review your assigned products.
5. Once you are done, select Apply.
   The assigned products are displayed in the product overview. If you have assigned individual variations, these will be shown in the product overview but greyed out.
6. If your changes haven't been saved already, select Save.

You have added products to the homepage of your shop. Note that it may take a moment for your changes to be reflected on your homepage.

How to remove products from the homepage

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Products → Manage categories.
2. Open the tab Products.
   All products listed here are currently displayed on the homepage.
3. Activate the checkboxes of the products you want to remove from the homepage.
4. Select Unassign.
5. Confirm your choice by selecting Unassign selected products.

You have removed the selected products from the homepage of your shop. Note that it may take a moment for your changes to be reflected on your homepage.

How to edit the product display on the homepage

Products that you have added via the category settings are always displayed at the bottom of your homepage. It is not possible to move this product display. If you want to show products in a different place on your homepage, you'll need to use one of the content elements from the Products category instead, e.g. Product slider or Product and text.

What you can edit is the size of the product images.
This is how you do it:

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor.
2. Hover over the product display and select in the upper right corner.
   The view Edit product image size appears.
3. Select your desired product image size. You can choose between three different sizes: S (Small), M (Medium), and L (Large).
   A preview with the currently selected product image size is immediately visible on the page in the background. If you select S, the images will be smaller and thus, more images will be shown at the same time. If you select L, the images will be larger and thus, fewer images will be shown at the same time.
4. Select Save.
