Edit the content of a page

Use your shop’s Editor to add pages and fill them with content elements such as text, images, products, and more.

How to add content elements

When you create a new content page, it starts empty. You can add content elements to fill it with text, images, products, and other features.

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor.
2. Navigate to Pages.
3. Select the page you want to edit or add a new page.
   A preview of the page opens on the right-hand side.
   Note
   You can add new elements to your homepage, content pages, and the top part of category pages. It is not possible to add elements to the legal pages.
4. Navigate to Content elements to see the available element categories.
5. Select a category.
6. Drag and drop a content element into the preview area. You can only drop content elements into the blue areas of a page.

You have added a content element. Now you need to configure the element’s settings and can make further edits. The options vary by element type. For further information refer to the articles under Content elements.

How to edit content elements

Each category contains predefined content elements that you can customise to fit your needs. For further information refer to Edit content elements.

Available content elements

You can add content elements from the following categories:

Products
Showcase products via categories, product sliders, or highlight a single product in combination with text.

Images
Add single or multiple images. You can also adjust the format or add text and links.

Text
Add plain text or combine it with products, images, videos, maps, or forms. Customise formatting and add links or buttons. For further information refer to Use the formatting options for text.

Icons
Choose from a large icon library to illustrate content without custom images. For further information refer to Use icon with text.

Gallery
Add an Image slider for large-format images or a grid-style Image gallery.

Videos
Embed YouTube or Vimeo videos.

Divider
Insert a horizontal line (solid, dashed, or dotted) to separate content. Hover over the divider and select to change its style.

FAQs+
Display information in expandable sections — ideal for FAQs or any other information you want to organise clearly. For further information refer to Provide information in a FAQ.

Contact
Insert a contact form.

Maps
You can also embed Google Maps.

HTML
With the Custom HTML content element, you can add HTML snippets to your shop.
