Delete content pages

You can only delete content pages via the Editor. It is not possible though to delete the homepage or legal pages.

A category page is automatically added for each category in your shop. To delete a category page, you must delete the category, which is not possible via the Editor. For further information, refer to Manage categories.

When you delete a page with subpages, the subpages are moved up one level to replace the deleted page. For further information on subpages, refer to Add subpages to a page.

Instead of deleting a page, you can also hide most page types in your shop. For further information, refer to Edit the visibility of a page.

How to delete a content page

1. In the sidebar of the administration, navigate to Editor.
2. You can see a list of your pages in the sidebar of your Editor under Pages → Content pages. Select next to the page you want to delete.
   A pop-up opens.
3. Select Delete.
4. Confirm your choice by selecting Delete again.
   
   Note that it is not possible to restore a page once it has been deleted!
